What would you do?

(11.24.09) Have you watched that ABC show "What would you do?" (the one with hidden cameras that film social experiments) Recently a friend posted this clip about people coming (or not coming) to the assistance of people who are passed out on the sidewalk. The whole clip is worth watching.

This morning on my ride to school on the 31, we saw a very large man who had either fallen in the crosswalk or been hit by a car and was laying in the road. There were already four people who stopped their cars in rush hour traffic and together they were pulling him to his feet and out of on coming traffic. Sure this is different from the video, but still, it would have been easier for any of them to just drive on by. It is amazing to witness simple acts of loving kindness while riding the Metro. I wonder how the rest of that man's day will be today.
